About us
Base Logistics Group: our journey
Our steady growth over the years shows our commitment to excellence and the trust our customers place in us. We believe logistics makes the difference by helping companies keep promises to their customers. That belief has driven us since day one and shaped us into an international group providing premium logistics solutions in demanding markets.
Our story began in 1994 in Dordrecht, the year Base Logistics was founded. We then moved to Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, opened a modern headquarters in Zwijndrecht in 2004, and expanded with offices in Landsmeer and later a distribution center in Amsterdam. In 2017, we brought our operations together at our current facilities in Moerdijk, with a small office team later relocating to an office in Landsmeer.
Introducing Klairy
Innovation has always been part of who we are. In 1999, we launched the first version of Klairy, our pioneering logistics platform that combined intelligence and innovation to simplify complex supply chains. In 2009, we introduced a new generation of Klairy that further expanded its capabilities and strengthened our leadership in smart logistics.
Formation of Base Logistics Group
In 2017, we also welcomed HealthLink Europe, expanding into healthcare logistics. A new warehouse opened in Waalwijk in 2019, followed by a larger HealthLink office in Den Bosch in 2022. In 2020, Special Logistic Services (SLS) joined the group, and in 2024, its logistics operations moved to a shared logistics center in Breda to accommodate further growth. In 2025, the SLS office team, including our Customer Service colleagues, also transitioned to a new office building in Breda.
Part of Staci Group and bnode
Since 2021, we have been part of Staci Group, and together we belong to the third-party logistics (3PL) division of bnode since 2024. This powerful combination brings together specialized logistics companies, broadening our capabilities and giving customers access to comprehensive services supported by local expertise and a strong international network.
